17thFeb-  2026 – 7.30pm- 8.40pm and runs for 6 weeks

6 week Beginners/Improvers Yoga course:
Join Karen on Tuesday evenings for a beginner/improvers class starting this January! These classes have a slower pace of practice where you will be guided and supported through a range of poses to aid ease and relaxation on and off the mat. Ideal for beginners or those looking for a gentler experience, each class will include breathwork and end with deep relaxation. Classes are suitable for complete beginners or people returning to practice. We’ll go slow but get a good stretch – leaving you calm and relaxed for the week ahead.

Karen is a qualified Classical Hatha Yoga teacher who specializes in vinyasa yoga, pregnancy and post-natal yoga.
Karen has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. She had her first class at the top of a cliff in the South of India when backpacking as a 19 year old student :) Yoga has been with her through different life stages since then and she loves to share it’s benefits with others.
She has studied yoga with Samadhi Yoga and the Elbowroom teacher training programmes in Dublin, and under the guidance of Ashtanga yoga teachers Gillian Mooney and Paula and David Collins at Ashtanga Yoga Dublin. She is really interested in the ancient tradition of yoga and the philosophies that inform it and tries to bring the teachings into her classes and workshops in a way that is relatable for her students.
She trained as a pregnancy yoga teacher during her first pregnancy, and a postnatal yoga teacher while her little girl was a baby. Yoga helped her connect with her body and innate capacities as a mother and she loves to share some of this incredible power with other women through her prenatal and postnatal yoga classes.
Karen now lives in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan with her family. They have a small farm and lots of small and big projects on the land they care for – raising children, looking after animals, growing food, and caring for wider nature. With her husband she founded an environmental education centre called Siolta Chroi where they offer trainings and workshops on many topics, including yoga
