We are delighted to be adding Reformer Pilates classes to our list of services here at Zenergy Yoga. A reformer pilates session with us introduces you to the equipment, basic movements and core principles of Reformer. Taught at a slower pace, it helps you build a solid foundation and gain a deeper understanding of the class flow, ensuring you feel confident and prepared for future sessions.
What Is Reformer Pilates?
The reformer method was first developed by Joseph Pilates during WW1 when he attached apparatus to hospital beds to help train and rebalance the muscles and joints of those who were injured and bedbound. Now far more glamorous but based on the same principles, the modern reformer machine is an incredible piece of equipment. While on the reformer, clients will learn how to complete a series of exercises and have a type of workout that focuses on improving core strength, flexibility, and posture. Reformer Pilates has no gained popularity all over the world. Celebrities and professional athletes are among some of the most famous people who swear by the Reformer.
Some of the celebrities who love Reformer include Kate Hudson, Lady Gaga, Naomi Campbell, The Kardashians, Sylvester Stallone, Hilary Duff, Adele, and Jennifer Aniston. They all credit Reformer Pilates for helping them stay in shape and boosting their energy levels. Professional athletes such as David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo , and Jason Kidd have also spoken about how Pilates has helped them improve their lives and help reduce and recover from injuries..

Following an injury to my own spine in 2023…I was unable to practice yoga and during that rehab time I began Reformer Pilates and I was simply amazed at how it helped in the healing of my injury and allowed me to get back to my Yoga practice. I’ve lengthened and strengthened my limbs when studying reformer pilates..so much so … I just had to buy some for the studio for you guys to enjoy also.

Semi Private Buddy up sessions -70euro- €35 euro each
